Throwback Thursday!

Throwback Thursday is a theme we created here at Sapientia ex Libri to fit our book blog!  We love looking back and sharing with you our favorite children’s books!  We would love for you to share your favorite kid’s books with us too!

Throwback Thursday pick:

Normally a farmer is not very scary, but if your name is Peter Rabbit and you are stealing from the farmer’s garden, than I’d watch out!  Mr. McGregor might just getcha!  This classic kid’s book includes a troublesome little bunny and lots of food!  Though during most of the book Peter is a naughty bunny, I think by the end of the book he learns his lesson.  Reading Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit was always fun!  There was never a boring moment!  Just remember kids, even though berry picking with your sisters, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail, might not be very fun……it will be worth it in the end!  Always listen to what mama says and don’t go wandering off.  What goes around comes around and will bite you in the butt; this book is a perfect example of those famous words!
